COURSE CANCELLED This course is focused on teaching the basic principles of commonly-used experimental techniques (e.g. photoemission, x-ray/neutron scattering, NMR, magnetometry, and transport). This course will combine lectures on the experimental topics with a seminar-style discussion of current papers in the field. The goal is to provide students (experimentalists and theorists) with a basic understanding, as well as a broad perspective, of modern experimental approaches. Guided small group discussions will be aimed towards understanding and interpreting experimental data in the literature.
